Full Description: Our latest Native American heritage program highlights the Oklahoma tribes and their heritage associated with the land run and the preservation of their culture through fables. This award-winning program is generously sponsored by the Cherokee Nation, Cheyenne-Arapaho Department of Education, Cheyenne-Arapaho Culture and Heritage Program, and Cheyenne-Arapaho R.E.Sp.E.C.T. Program.

Awards: The original publication of this program in the 2007-2008 school year, which varied only slightly from this 2008-2009 publication, received a Golden ADDY Award in the Color Newspaper Spread category of the 43rd Annual Oklahoma City ADDY Awards.
