In Brief: Get your students hooked on reading during Teen Read Month.

Full Description: Celebrate October as Teen Read Month with in-paper lessons about the literary progression of sci-fi literature (think “Dracula” to the “Twilight” series) and a reading contest. The school whose students log the most number of pages read during October will win $250 worth of books for the school library, and there also are prizes for top individual readers. This program is complimentary to schools thanks to the generosity of the Oklahoma Department of Libraries.
